- A New Organization of Living Ferns Collection in Bali Botanic Garden. Pteridophytes (ferns and lycophytes) arenon-seed vascular plants, i.e. plants with xylem and phloem whose dispersal relies on spores. The ferns are largelytropical (probably 12,000 species) and represent 97% of living Pteridophytes. The Bali Botanic Garden has a speciallocation called as Cyathea Garden (vak. IX.E) to hold living fern and lycophyte collections. About 128 species arepreviously identified, and arranged randomly in the Cyathea Garden. In 2013, an effort to re-arranged fern collectionsbased on recent classification has been made. Now day, 31 families and 68 genera were identified; however, actual speciesnumber is being in intensive identification. The families sequence is following their phylogenetic relationships andplaced along loop foot track. This new organization is purposed to standardized fern collections into a more naturalorder
