- As well as inadequate understanding of restoration procedure, previous studies showed that post endodontic restoration failures are mostly due to failure in determination of the indication. The purpose of post endodontic restoration is to preserve the functions of the tooth. To achieve that goal understanding of case selection, restoration procedure and operator skill are essential, so that iatrogenic case will be evaded.
