- Managerial skill is one of the most important skills for a dentist who is working in a dental health center. A dentist will face difficulties if she/he does not have the managerial skill because beside the medical techniques, there are lots of duties which relate to planning, performance and program evaluation. The skill to plan a dental health program will require understanding of epidemiology and many other influencing factors. Time limitation in rendering the dental medication effort has become and impediment for other activities, particularly in the managing the public dental health effort, in order to create a health paradigm in the year of 2010. The ideas regarding a family dentist to provide the dental services as close as possible to the society, and also to overcome the unfavourable distribution of dentistry graduates, need to be well planned and implemented.
