  • Synthesis of ZSM-11 from Lampung natural zeolite was conducted using Tetrabutylammonium hydroxide (TBAOH) as a templating agent. One of factors affecting the synthesis condition is mole ratio of SiO2/Al2O3. In this research mole ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 was varied from 17, 20, 22, 25, 28, 31, 34, 35, 40, and 80 mole/mole, meanwhile other conditions of synthesis such as pH, reaction temperature, dissolution (mole rasio of H2O/SiO2), mole ratio of TBAOH/SiO2, and reaction time of synthesis were kept constant namely pH 12, 170 oC, 40 mole/mole ; 0,08 mole/mole, and 60 hours respectively. The research showed that ZSM-11 was not formed at the whole ratios of SiO2/Al2O3, but tended to form ZSM-5 as intermediate product at SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of 22, 25, 28, and 34 mole/mole with cystalinity percentage of about 72,819; 28,486; 30,827 and 55,793% respectively. Small amount of SAPO-11 was also formed at SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of 25 and 35 mole/mole, but its cystalinity percentage could not be calculated. Key words: Synthesis of ZSM-11, Template TBAOH
