  • Conversion of Lampung natural zeolites into catalyst of ZSM-5 has been conducted. The research is purposed to obtain the best temperature of the conversion of Lampung natural zeolites into ZSM-5 evaluated from the relative crystallinity percentage of ZSM-5 produced. The conversion was hydrothermally conducted in an autoclave of 0.5 litre. Fix variables in this conversion were TPABr/SiO2 ratio of 0.05 mol/mol, Si/Al ratio of 120 mol/mol, and conversion time of 24 hours. Meanwhile, arbitrarily variable was conversion temperature of 155oC, 165oC, 175oC, 185oC, and 195oC, and autogeneous pressure.Tetrapropyl Ammonium Bromide (TPABr) was used as a templating agent and cabosil as a source of an added silica. Products of the synthesis were characterized by means of XRD. The results show that ZSM-5 was produced at the whole conversion temperatures with relative crystallinity percentages of 14.25%; 12.27%; 13.38 %; 14.96 % dan 11.87 %, respectively. These results indicate that variation of conversion temperature on relative crystallinity percentages of ZSM-5 in the conversion does not significantly influence. Beside ZSM-5, ZSM-11 and analcym were also produced as intermediate products in the conversion. Keywords: ZSM-5, TPABr, Natural zeolites’ conversion
