  • The ability of Lampung’s granular zeolites in saving petrol engines fuel consumption have beenperformed by Herry Wardono, those were 11,2-23%. The zeolites were slightly eroded as theywere utilized in cars. The zeolites were then changed into pellets in order to increase zeolites’hardness. Pelletized zeolites were made by blending an adhesive (tapioca powder) in powderzeolites. The pelletized zeolites were physically activated at 225oC. The amount of zeolites usedin the experiments were 25, 50 and 100 grams. The experiments were performed in a four-strokespetrol motorcycle at speed of 40-60 kph (fuel consumption test), and 1000 and 3500 rpm(emissions test). From the experiments, it was obtained that the pelletized zeolites could savefuel consumption of the motorcycle more than 14%. The highest save was 18.1% occurred inusing 50 grams zeolites. On the other hand, the concentration of CO could be maximally reducedby 31.03%, and it was 13.64% for CO2 concentration at the operation of 1000 rpm. However,there were no significant reduction of CO and CO2 concentrations at the operation of 3500 rpm. Keywords :Pelletized zeolites and emissions, petrol engines performance, oxygen-rich combustion.
