- Globalization means broader information flows. This can be a benefit especially in promoting good values of peace and humanities while at the other hand the difficulty to block information flows can bring negative values. Values and lifestyle of foreign nations which might not be suitable to our already positive values can reform our nation to undesired ways. We need to overcome these negative effects of globalization and if possible, completely wipe out the negative effects since they will consume, corrupt and weaken this nation morality especially the morality of the next generation which will continue the nation’s development. School-age students have unlimited capabilities to absorb many knowledge and values and considered as the initial and golden age to develop desirable character. This is where various works of children’s literature become important as useful method to deliver positive values to the young generation. There is a need to introduce various works of literature such as novels, poetry, illustration book which is capable to develop character, morale, empathy, ethics, and social aspects of young generation. This paper also examines family role in delivering literature. Family is the smallest organization unit of a nation and this make family’s education values an important asset to achieve nation’s bright future. The result of the study shows that works of literature delivery is still underdeveloped. The works of literature is actualy capable to be viewed and examined through the values of education in family. Works of literatures is also capable to have positive impact to the development and perseverance of nation’s positive values.
