- Bale Barungan is a building of the Betawi Souvenir center located in Kepulauan Seribu, precisely on Pari Island. The building designed to represent the traditional building of Betawi, the Kebaya house. The building also took the idea of Ondel-Ondel which is a Betawi culture that always perform in a pair. Overall, visitors will enjoy and get to know the Betawi culture from the traditional to the present, which is served from traditional to modern. The building functions as a mini gallery, market place, workshop area ,and an auditorium. A building’s interior is inspired by the natural wealth seen in the furniture design in the form of ships, the use of natural materials such as bamboo, wicker and wood. The aesthetic element represents a stylized form of batik Betawi.
