- Single visit root canal treatment is a treatment that can be completed in one visit. Single visit root canal treatment has the advantage of saving time and minimizing contamination of microorganisms. Teeth with curved root, is an obstacle in performing root canal treatment in a single visit. The purpose of this case report is to demonstrate a case of single visit root canal treatment in curved root using crown down technique on mandibular first premolar. In this case, a woman aged 21 years old came to clinic konservsi gigi FKG Unpad with chief complaint having a cavity on her lower left tooth approximately one year ago, which has been diagnosed with irreversible pulpitis. The radiograph showed a curved root. After a single visit root canal treatment, patient did not feel pain. On post treatment control, palpation and percussion tests showed negative result and patient did not feel pain. In conclusion, this case report revealed that single visit root canal treatment is possible to be done on tooth with curved root using crown down technique.
