- Music video is one of the media commonly used by music record label to market a music performer. As a designed object, music video is laden with various visual to represent the performer(s) to public. Women depicted in this medium are often shown in sexualized manner, as supporting act for a male performer or as part of women's performance. This essay will focus on girl bands who influence young women. The sexualization manner for visual produces certain corosive consequences toward audience.
