- SMP Negeri 1 Bandung want to improve the education quality to explore the world of information technology as listed in the school's vision and mission. Currently, the school has a web-based academic system that helps parents to monitor their progress. This study was conducted to develop and complement the existing academic system by adding Short Message Service, a new admissions system, online learning systems, and forum communication system. The addition system will be develop to manage new admissions process until students placement in the classroom automatically, and also strengthen the communication between school and parents. The development systems include fixed based website, change the display neatly, using technology from GSMComm library as a support for SMS Gateway, ASP.NET 4.0 technology, and SQL Server 2008 R2 as the database management system. It is also using URL encoding and decoding, input validation, and encryption password for the security system. Input validation and of password encryption used to avoid any form of sql injection attacks.
