- The purpose of this research is to analyze whether there is a significat correlation between the controller’s role in planning and controlling the selling of unit in order to assist Mangement increasing the number of units sold and also to identify the occuring problems recently and weakness of the selling itself so that Management is possible to make some correction and efforts to do. Kind of the research written by the writer is an explanatory using descriptive method. The collecting method of data and information which is related to the research consists of; library study, field research such as interview with person in charge, questioner, and others related documents. Related to the quesioner, the writer uses 30 employees as the responden and to analyze to the answer of quesioner, the writer use Champion’s percentage method. The result of research is showing how the controller’s role in planning and controlling the selling unit is enough helpful for Management in increasing the number of selling which is the correlation measured by Champion’s percentage method is 57,33%, besides the research also identify some weakness remain in planning and controlling that Management needs to aware and do some corrections.
