- Motives is an impulsive or behaviour to fulfil needs. Motives have a significant connection with satisfaction. Infotainment program such as Insert and Intens becoming most watched by the televise audiences in Indonesia. Rather than any same program, both of these program have a many audiences. Purpose of this study is how to know about motives and satisfaction that audiences look for. Researcher used Uses and Gratification theory, where the audiences using mass media based on certain motives. If it fulfill needs the audiences, satisfaction using mass media until the media capable fulfill their needs, that’s called effective media. Method that used into this study is distributing questionnaires for 100 respondents. Cluster Area Sampling is used to choose sampling over population. Result of this research is showed that motives to watch Insert 67,46%, and for Intens 67,82%. For satisfaction result, Insert have 64,54% and Intens have 64,2%. Insert won in terms of entertainment, and Intens won in terms of extensive knowledge. Keywords : Intens, Insert, Motives, Satisfaction
