  • Prereading activity is the first step of introducing the symbols of letters to children as well as they are able to pronounce the symbols, more ever it is also the process which the children are learning vocabulary as well as they learn how to write and spell the vocabulary correctly throught the visual process. One the way to improve the children’s prereading ability is using the flash card, because is the media which could give some positive effects for children such as: attract the attention and children’s eagerness to read, it is also the fast way in memorizing, remembering, and improving the children’s vocabulary, moreover it also improves the children’s ability in reading and communication skills. The purpose of this research is to know the early ages 4-5 year prereading ability in TPA Al- Muawanah. This research is using seven objects, it is consist of the three boys and for girls. The result of the research is appeared after the writer having abservaton in two sessions of learning to achieve the standard minimum reguired. The average of achievement early ages 4-5 year prereading ability in TPA Al- Muawanah in sesion II is 77,38%. This it can be concluded that, using the flash card could improve the early ages 4-5 year prereading ability in the school academic year 2014-2015 at TPA Al-Muawanah.
