  • Primary education is the education level in the early to determine the success of education to the next level . Primary education was established to produce graduates who have the character , attitude , mental , knowledge and develop the potential within themselves optimally . This study , subjects were taken from grade 5 SDN Citerep Walantaka Serang District of as many as 33 students . Problems that arise in the school is the low student learning outcomes of speech , which caused less variation teachers in using the learning method . To optimize the conditions of active learning, the learning is applied to the method of Role Playing on Indonesian subjects . Based on the above , the formulation of the problem as follows : ( 1 ) How is the implementation of the concept of learning to speak with a play on the fifth grade students of SDN Citerep , Walantaka subdistrict , Serang , Banten province , school year 2014/2015 by using role playing ? ( 2 ) How does an increase in the ability to speak with the concept of a play in the fifth grade students of SDN Citerep , Walantaka subdistrict , Serang , Banten province , following the school year 2014/2015 after learning Indonesian by applying the method of role playing ?. This study aims to improve the ability to speak with the concept of a play by using the method of role playing on Indonesian subjects . This research method uses classroom action research . This study was conducted with 2 cycles , eraser cycle consists of 2 meetings and consists of 4 tahp , namely : 1 ) planning , 2 ) action . 3 ) observation , 4 ) reflection . The researchers also used the instrument of observation , testing , and field notes . The hypothesis of this study is " Learning by Using Role Playing Method Can Improve Learning Outcomes Concepts Drama Script Speaking in classroom learning SDN 2014/2015 Citerep Year " . Based on the analysis results of the study are 1 ) increase student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 6:10 % and 7.65 % second cycle . In addition , student activity is increased in the first cycle of 6:12 % and 7:45 % second cycle . Keywords : Method of Role Playing Speech
