- Social Intelligence is a measure of the ability of a person in the association in the community and the ability to interact socially with people around or surrounding areas.Cooperative learning is a teaching system that provides an opportunity for students to collaborate with fellow students in a structured tasks.Based on the results of research on kindergarten pre Tunas Peacock Pandeglang, social intelligence of the child has not developed to the value of 19%. The method in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles, the first cycle consisted of 8 times the action and the second cycle consists of 3 acts with a 75%. success criteria measures. Subject penelian amounted to 14 children. The technique of collecting data through observation, field notes , interview and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data display and conclusion.. The results of this research note that 1) At the initial assessment of a child 's ability to read the beginning of the 19 %, 2) After the child is given the action on the first cycle, the ability of the child began to increase to 47%. 3) Cycle II obtained a yield of 81%. It can be concluded that cooperative learning can improve the social intelligence of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Tunas MerakPandeglang.
