- This research aims to increase the activity and learning achievement of students through outcomes using learning model of CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning until it reaches at least 75%. This research is Class Action Research (CAR), does on two in every cycle consisted, each cycle was done with two meetings each cycle done with four phase, there are planning phase, implementation phase, observation phase and reflection phase. The data collection techniques in this study were by using test instruments, observations of teacher and students’ learning activities, as well as the questionnaire. In the first and second cycle meeting, the number of students who attended the class was 34 students, By the implementation of CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning), students’ learning activities and learning outcomes increased. In the first cycle, the average of students' learning activities was 74,44 % and in the second cycle increased to be 84.80 %. Likewise, the average of student learning outcomes, from 71,32 % in the first cycle increased to be 86% in the second cycle. So that conclusions can be drawn from this study that the implementation of CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning), can increase students' learning activities and learning outcomes on Social subject in third grade of Elementary School Banjar Agung 4.
