- The purpose of this research is to produce teaching materials in the form of learning modules based on materials science-based nature of the excretory system are fit for used by students. The research is belong to development research that used Research and Development method (R & D), by modifying research design of 3-D models, namely Define, Design and Develop. The experiment was conducted on March 2015 to August 2016 at the Serang city, Banten. Data were obtained from a questionnaire assessment module and analyzed descriptively. Quality assessment module is carried out by an expert validation team, includes five aspects, namely Feasibility assessment of Contents, Linguistic, Understanding the Nature of Science, Presentation and graphic. Based on the expediency test results obtained the average percentage was 85.52%. The results showed that the modules have been developed feasibility quality is very worthy to be used as teaching materials by students.
