- It is based on research by the presence of the findings in the process of learning social class in the class III SDN Bojong that in their experiences tended to be centered on teacher or teacher centered in their experiences so that less attractive interest students attention. This resulted in the learning became less meaningful for students. The existence of these conditions have an impact on the activity and learning outcomes of students who low. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes social class by using a model of learning active learning type on hollywood squares grade students III SDN Bojong. Research was carried out on the material history of money. When the study was conducted in April to May , and the subject of this study is the third grade students consisting of 34 students. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. This study was conducted as two cycles, and each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showedan increase in activityandstudent learning outcomes ineachcycle. In cycle1, the activity of student sreached 67% at the first meetingand 78% atthe second meeting. In cycle2, the activity of students increased to 92% atthe first meeting and 100% at the second meeting. This is in accordancewithpre-definedindicators of successthat is>90%. Improving student learning outcomesthat have met thecriteria for completeness Minimal, in cycle1increased to79% and in cycle 2 increased to 88%, thiswasin accordance with the indicators of successthat is>80%. Based on the results of research shows that in their model active cycle of learning that could improve the learning of the learned hollywood squares in the third grade student of sdn for bojong.
