  • Silage is a product which is by using fermentations or addition of acids, such as formic acid. It can be made from animals or plants material. The objective of the research is to know the composition of fish offal silage using formic acid on the catfish feed. The research has been conducted at Freshwater Seed Centers (BBAT) Curug Barang-Pandeglang on September-November 2014. The Experiment consist of four treatment (A, without addition of formic acid ; B, 3 % formic acid ; C, 4 % ; D, 5 % formic acid) and three times replication, and used Completely Randomized Design. The result Showed that, treatment A gives the best results compared to the treatment B, C and D. Dry matter digestibility of 75.70 %, protein digestibility 91.70 % and energy digestibility of 85.08 %. Keywords: Catfish, Digestibility, Formic Acid, Silage.
