  • The main problems of this research are low students’ activity and low students’ study result at fourth grade of SDN Pegadingan 1 on production, communication and transportation technology development main study. To solve this problem, the researcher uses the picture media at teaching learning process. This research is purposed to increase the students’ activity and students’ study result using picture media on production, communication and transportation technology development main study at fourth grade of SDN Pegadingan 1. This research is held at fourth grade of SDN Pegadingan 1 with 27 students as samples. This research uses classroom action research with Kemmis and Mc Taggart model, held on April and there are 2 cycles which every cycle have 2 meetings. The phases of this research are planning, acting, observation, and reflection. Then the data collection technique uses the study result test, interview and observation. Based on research result, it showed that at pre-cycle, the students’ study result based on middle semester test averaged to 66,18 and percentage of study completeness is 44,44%. Then in the first cycle obtained learning outcomes of students achieving an average value of 76.66 and the percentage of classes mastery learning 81.49% or as many as 22 students from 27 students who completed says study results. In the second cycle results obtained by the students has been very good and has increased the average value class achieve mastery learning 78.14 with the percentage reached 100% or it can be said that all the students have been declared complete study results. And thus it can be concluded that PTK using media images can improve the learning outcomes of students. Then to the results of the first cycle of learning activities in the first meeting and the second meeting 66.7% to 75%. In the second cycle of the first meeting and the second meeting 91.7% of 100%. And thus it can be concluded that PTK using media images may also increase the activity of learners Keywords: Media, Image, Learning Outcomes and Learning Activities
