- The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes by using model learning cooperative type articulation on social studies in the fifth grade of SDN Kelapa Dua 3. Research was carried out on the material proclamation independence of indonesia. When the study was conducted in April to May , and the subject of this study is the third grade students consisting of 28 students. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. This study was conducted as two cycles, and each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed increase in activity and student learning outcomes ineachcycle. In cycle I, the activity of students reached 66,7%. In cycle II, the activity of students increased to 93,3%. This is in accordancewithpre-defined indicators of success that is>90%. Improving student learning outcomes that have met the criteria for completeness Minimal, in cycle1increased to 82,14% and in cycle II increased to 100%, this was in accordance with the indicators of success that is 100%. Based on the results of the study showed that in each cycle of the model of learning cooperative type articulation can improve learning outcomes social studies at the fifth grade of SDN Kelapa Dua 3.
