- The purpose of research is to increase the activity and student learning outcomes in social studies using the learning model Round Club. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research. The procedure is carried out through two cycles where each cycle consists of (1) Planning (planning), (2) the implementation of the (acting), (3) observation (observing), (4) the reflecion (reflecting). The study was conducted for the first cycle on 22 & 24 April 2015 and the second cycle on 29 April dan 6 May 2015. The collection data in this study using student activity sheet instruments and activities of teacher and the booklet tests to measure stdnt learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques used in this research is qualitative analysis t measure the activity of student and teacher activities, while quantitative data use to mesure student learning outcomes. Result of this sudy indicate that the use of learning model Round Club in social studies in grade V SDN Sukamanah 3 impacton increased activit and student learing outcomes. It can beseen from the average activity of students in the first cycle of meetings 68% to the category of “deficient”, at the second meeting to 85% by the category “good”, while in cycle II firs meeting reached 95% the category of “very well”, and the second meeting became 100% the criteria of “very well”. Complete student learning outcomes in the first cycle reached 64%, increase of 22% in the second cycle into 86%. Based on the esearch that has been conducted by researchers, it can concluded that learning by using learning model Round Club can incrase student learning activities, activity teacher, and student learning outcomes, as evidenced by an increase uin the percentage of each cycle.
