  • This research was based on the low learning achievement of students that below Standard Score. There were 45% or 19 students that didn’t pass the Standard Score and there were 55% or 25 students that passed the Standard Score in IPA lesson at SDN Ketileng II. This happened because teacher monotonically taught the students, so the students were not eager to pay attention to the teacher and they also were bored to learn what the teacher taught. The aim of the research was to improve learning achievement in IPA lesson through Index Card Match strategy. This research was conducted at SDN Ketileng II Kecamatan Cilegon. The subject of the research was IV grade students with success indicator indicated 80% of 44 students who learned through Index Card Match strategy. The method of the research was Classroom Action Research which was conducted in two cycles which contained 2 meeting in each cycle. Based on the research, there were 31 students from 44 students or 72,09% passed the Standard Score and in the second cycle it improved to 39 students or 90,69% passed the Standard Score with set success indicator. This result showed the improvement of students’ achievement from cycle I and cycle II. Based on the result IPA lesson learning activity by implementing Index Card Match strategy can improve students’ achiement on IPA lesson at IV grade student of SDN Ketileng II Kecamatan Cilegon, 2013/2014 academic year.
