- Background Research by the Management of the departure service of Indonesian Workers (TKI) to the Foreign Affairs Office of Manpower and Transmigration (DISNAKERTRANS) Serang (Case Study in District Pontang Serang District) that have not been going well. This research uses the theory of service management by Ratminto and Atik (2005). Using a qualitative descriptive method, which shows DISNAKERTRANS Serang district still less resources and dissemination of information regarding the procedures and mechanisms for Indonesian workers who will work abroad as well as the less of supervision or monitoring to PPTKIS in subdistrict Pontang ongoing basis. The results of service management departure of Indonesian workers abroad in the Department of Manpower and Transmigration Serang District is not optimal, which adversely affects the service obtained by the Indonesian workers. The recommendation are need for an active role of agencies involved in providing information to prospective Indonesian workers who will work abroad or hold counseling, oversight supervision to implementing private placement of Indonesian workers.
