- Red Galangal is a group of medicinal plant that has many benefits. Red Galangal is used by the public for traditional medicine. The purpose of this study was to analyze the cost and income of farmers, farm galangal analyze the breakeven point, analyzing the economic efficiency and analyze the contribution of the red ginger farm household income. This research was showed the total cost of red ginger farming per hectare per season of Rp 26.341.873,99 with a fixed fee of Rp 2,984,361,874 and variable costs Rp 23.357.572,11 galangal farm income in the village of Sand Lute in the growing season in 2013 earned 30,323,1 kg average production per hectare, with an average selling price of 2500 per kg in order to obtain acceptance of Rp 75.807.757,43. The cost of production is equal Rp 26.341.873,99 maka galangal earned income of farmers was Rp 49.465.880,44 per hectare. BEP rhizome production of 1725,34 kg. RC ratio was obtained at 2,87 indicates that the farm in the village of sand lute profitable or efisien.
