- Virginity in the context of Indonesian is still considered as something that has a high value. Currently, the debate problem of virginity is still an issue of concern, virginity tests were conducted in one of the establishments indicates that virginity is still considered a symbol to distinguish a woman’s chastity. Thus, woman who releases her virginity before marriage, violates the values and norms that exist in Indonesian society. Researchers interested in studying the problem of research is about the construction of reality virginity in woman who are not virgins, with research questions regarding the adjustment of woman no virgin to the values and norms of virginity, no virgin female interaction processes in social life and disclosure meaning no virgin female virginity to her. This study aims to determine the problems. Researchers used a qualitative research method with phenomenological approach and constructivism. Data collection techniques used were interviews with the 3 key informants who isn’t virgin and 3 additional informants are psychologists, obstetricians and religion expert. Researchers used the analytic social construction theory of reality by Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann, which takes place in three stages, there are externalization, objectivities and internalization. Results from this study that, in the process of adjustment that affects the family environment, community, religion and culture. In the process of social interaction, milieu became influential in the elucidation of the factors resulting in the disclosure of the third meaning of key informants through an action that give her virginity before marriage. Of the three stages of the reality that there are two forms of objective reality and subjective reality that construct the reality of a woman virginity.
