- A news is a product of journalism which includes the journalists’s construction of reality in reporting activities. In presenting the facts to the public, many approaches might be taken by journalists, literary journalism is one of them. Literary journalism is considered as an alternative method of reporting and stories writing that allows the realities is told in depth, full and attractive. The news "Kejarlah Daku Kau Kusekolahkan" is one of the works in literary journalism published by Pantau magazine. As an article about the war, this news does not see conflict as the main focus.The purpose of this study is to explain how the TNI-GAM conflict constructed in the news. The study using Algirdas Greimas’s analysis of narrative structure models as the analitycal method. And the theory that used to explain the results of the analysis is the theory of Social Construction of Reality initiated by Peter L Berger and Thomas Luckman. This study used a qualitative approach with constructive paradigm. The unit of analysis was the narrative sections in the news related to the conflict TNI and GAM. The sections are mapped in the schematic narrative actants, functional structure and rectangular opposition. Interview method adopted to complement and strengthen the data analysis.The results of the study are that the conflict in Aceh between TNI and GAM was not just about nationalism and the spirit of maintaining the integrity of the Republic (to the army) or the spirit of independence (to GAM). Researchers also noticed that the gunfire, all kinds of operations and interrogation, ego tinged army that implied that the individual soldiers stuck on a personal vendetta rather than became a solution to the collective problems of Indonesian society. They went to Aceh in order to carry out the duty assigned, and look forward to finish the duty safely. There are not many soldiers who cares about the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia.
