- The purpose of this research is to analyze the marketing of rice, marketing agency and the form of rice marketing channel especially in Pegadingan Village Kramatwatu Kabupaten Serang Provinsi Banten. The method used in this research is survey method. Respondent population was conducted by census by taking all population in research area 31 respondents by using snowball sampling method. The result of this study describe that 1) kinds of marketing agencies is producers, collecting traders, retailers, wholesalers and end consumers. 2) the fuction of the institution such as the fuction of exchange, risk-bearer, and market information. 3) the form of marketing channel there are three that is the producerto the final consumer, or the industrial consumer and channel the two producers to the collecting merchant to the retailer then to the final consumer or the consumer of the industry and the producer to the merchant then to the wholesaler then to the retailer then the industrial consumer or end consumers.
