- Indonesia's flagship commodity in the fishery sector is one of them is seaweed. Demand for seaweed continues to increase. Banten village is relatively close and directly related to the Fishery Port of Nusantara (PPN) Karangantu, and seaweed cultivation business in Banten Village which is still new so there are still many obstacles and problems faced by fishermen in Banten Village. Therefore it is important to conduct research related to the feasibility analysis of seaweed farming business in Banten Village, so as to improve the welfare of the community in Banten Village. This research method is research by survey method. The types of data used in this study include primary and secondary data. The sampling technique used in this study is saturated sampling. Analysis of data used is descriptive analysis and financial analysis. This research was conducted on November-December 2016 in Banten Village. The amount of production cost or total cost (TC) is Rp 46,074,074,8 per planting season, and the average production cost is Rp 3,839,506,23 per planting season with planting area 0,44 Ha. Seaweed farmers received Rp 165,165,000 per season and an average revenue of Rp 13,763,750 per season. The income of seaweed farming in Banten is Rp 119,090,925.2 per season and the average income is Rp 9,924,243.77 per season. Value R / C Seaweed Ratio of 3.58 means seaweed farming is an efficient farming (profitable) and feasible forwarded, this can be seen from the value of R / C Ratio> 1 (Rodjak 2006). The BEP value of seaweed farming sales reached Rp 31,764,845. BEP Production Volume of 2,906.66 Kg, while the value of BEP Luas Lahan for seaweed farming that is equal to 0.19 Ha.
