The back ground of research is its’ a fact that strudent achievements in IPS are still rare, This situation is henced by the low student motivation in studying IPS. These facts influence the low student achievement in mastering the IPS concepts. This situation motivates to take a research how the jigsaw model and student learning type can effect to student achievement in IPS, either separately or co llectively (together).This research is carried out in SMK 1 Pandeglang, class XI IAcountant, academic year 201 3/2014, in qua ntitative approach, with eksperiment design.Thedata collection is using multiple choice test and questionnaire. Those are analyzed withregretion.The results of research inform that three alternative hypoteses can be accepted. The Impact of jigsaw model and student learning type to student achievement in IPS is very significant. The conclutions based on this research are three things, that there are positive impacts : (1) jigsaw model to st udent achievement in IPS ; (2) student learningtype in IPS, (3) and the impact of both variables collectively to Student Achievement in IPS.Based on this research are five things can be recommended, as follows: (1) the teacher should take a evaluation/test (2) the teacher should be not boring to motivate all student, all time to learn IPS, (3) teacher should take a design or theaching model that are comfort with student learning type(4) the school management have to enhance the result of learning teaching procces ; (5) and the last, the advanced research ural sciences), or or the humanities. should be done , especially in the same subject (social sciences) or nat Keyword: jigsaw model, student learning type, student achievement
