- The research focus is on employee performance Division of Hot Strip Mill PT Krakatau Steel Cilegon. This study aims to determine how much the employee performance Division of Hot Strip Mill PT Krakatau Steel Cilegon. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. population in this study were employees of the hot strip mill division numbering 399 people. to determine the sample research size, researchers using taro Yamane formula and determined the sample amounted to 80 people, retrieving data using proportional stratified random sampling technique, instruments in this study using the theory of performance according T.R.Michel in Sedarmayanti amounted to 5 indicators of quality of work, communication, punctuality, ability to work and initiatives , data collection techniques were done by distributing questionnaires, unstructured interviews, observation, literature and documentation. Based on the results that have been done, a discussion can be concluded that the (r count) is smaller than (r table) (-13.67 <1.664), then Ho accepted and Ha rejected. The study concluded that the employee performance Division of Hot Strip Mill PT Krakatau Steel Cilegon unsatisfactory. Because the employee performance evaluation Division of Hot Strip Mill PT Krakatau Steel Cilegon reached 46.95% of the hypothetical figure is 65%. Keywords : employee performance, PT Krakatau Steel.
