- he focus of this research is The performance of the Department of Treasury in the management of the restaurant tax in Serang City. The aim of this research is to find out how big the performance of the Department of Treasury in the management of the restaurant tax in Serang City. The theory used is the theory of performance from Mahsun’s theory with performance indicators namely input process, and output. A method of the research is quantitative descriptive method. The population in this research were all civil servants in the Department of Treasury especially the civil servants who is directly involved in the process of tax management restaurant in Serang City about 41 persons and sampling technique using all of that population. A technique used in collecting data namely by questionnaire, observation, unstructured interview, and literature study or the study of documentation. From this research obtained the performance of the Department of Treasury in the management of the restaurant tax in Serang City is 69,31% and it categorized good enough as it can reach the level of 65%. The advice of researchers is have improved performance in this case on the management of the restaurant tax by means of increase or add facilities and infrastructure supporting activities also additional employees to work can be solved in a more efficient .
