  • The purpose of this study was to determine the role of teachers in instilling values and morals in learning Pancasila Education and Citizenship (PPKn) in the Pasundan 1 Vocational School in Serang City. The formulation of the problem in this study are: (1) How is the process of planting values and morals by the teacher in learning PPKn in SMK Pasundan 1 Serang City? (2) What is the role of the teacher in instilling values and morals in learning PPKn in Pasundan 1 Vocational School in Serang City? (3) What are the obstacles of teachers in instilling values and morals in learning PPKn in Pasundan 1 Vocational School in Serang City? (4) What is the teacher's effort in overcoming the value and moral problems in learning PPKn in Pasundan 1 Vocational School in Serang City? This research was carried out in SMK Pasundan 1 Kota Serang. This research was conducted in December 2017 to May 2018. The research method used was descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The instrument in this study was to use observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are the analysis techniques of the Miles and Huberman models. Examination of data in this study was carried out by testing data triangulation and member checks from various sources. The results of this study indicate that the role of the teacher in instilling values and morals in learning PPKn class X Pasundan 1 Vocational School in Serang City has been going well enough, although in the results of planting the values and morals are not optimal for shaping the attitudes and behaviors of students who become better. This is due to the factors that inhibit the inculcation of values and morals, including family factors, school factors, and community factors.
