  • The more diverse the existing electrical equipment, is also accompanied by the need for a good quality power source. This requires electricity providers to be able to guarantee the quality of electricity received by consumers is in good condition. This is because the poorer the quality of electrical power from an electrical system, the more loss costs will be used to overcome the problems that arise. A good state on the voltage side is when the voltage value is at 1 pu. Voltage flicker is one of the factors causing the reduced quality of electrical power. Voltage sag is a decrease in system voltage with a range of 10-90% in a period of 0.5-60 cycles. Disturbance in the system is impossible to avoid, because the time of occurrence cannot be known with certainty. DVR can be used to anticipate the occurrence of voltage flicker disturbances. DVR is a power electronics converter which is designed to maintain the load voltage from disturbances by injecting voltage from the battery into the system. The control system on this DVR uses a fuzzy logic controller to perform the voltage injection. In this research, modeling of the DVR control system will be carried out to recover the voltage lost due to disturbance from the voltage flicker. Simulations were carried out at an active load of 250 KW and a reactive 40KVAR at the mils unit 6 distribution system of PT Dian Swastatica Sentosa Serang Power Plant with a short circuit fault. The simulation results show that the DVR control system that has been made can perform voltage injection and restore the system voltage to 1 pu.
