- This study aims to develop an appropriate playground-based monopoly learning media for social studies learning in the material of Money in Class III Ciwaktu SDN. This research is a type of development research (research and development) which refers to the development of Brog and Gall which has been modified by Sugiyono. This research was conducted at Ciwaktu SDN in August to September 2018. The research was carried out by steps: Problem analysis, Data collection, Product design, Validity of Expert Test, Product Revision and Limited Trial. The product developed was tested for feasibility by validation by design experts, experts in the field of Social Studies (Social Sciences) and limited trials. Research subjects were 10 students during limited trials. The instruments used to collect data are questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that the validation of the design expert obtained an average score that was included in the feasible category. The results of the validation of social studies experts gained an average score which is included in the very feasible category. The results of the Limited trial obtained a score that was categorized as very feasible. Based on the results of the trial, the playground-based monopoly learning media is feasible to be used in the social studies learning of money material.
