- The purpose of this research was to develop a virtual laboratory and to know the assessment result from the expert on virtual laboratory as an alternative media for the concept of cell division experiment at grade 12 in Senior High School. The method used was Research and Development (R&D). The research was conducted on Maret to September 2017 at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University and SMAN 1 Kota Serang in grade XII MIA 3 for validation expert and students responses. Based on, the expert assessment virtual laboratory media got 75.83% and 70.67% for media and content consecutively. While the responses on virtual laboratory from the teacher and the students was 76.19%, and 82.21%. In conclusion, the virtual laboratory of cell division concept was well accepted by the teachers and very well accepted by the students.
