  • Abstract This research is a review on PT. Sinar Mulia Inti Makmur Serang - Banten, the research unit is the production employee. Existing business phenomenon is the performance of employees have not been able to meet the performance standards set by PT. Sinar Mulia Inti Makmur. This may be influenced by low discipline and work competence, which may have an impact on employee motivation in carrying out its duties and responsibilities to complete the work. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of discipline, competence, and work motivation on employee performance and work motivation as intervening variable. The production employee population is 80 people and the sampling using the census. Data collected by using questionnaire instrument, measurement using likert scale. The developed instrument tests the validity level by using convergent validity and discriminant validity. While instrument reliability estimates by using composite reliability. Data analysis to answer research problem and hypothesis test using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square program (PLS). Research findings: (H1) accepted; (H2) accepted; (H3) rejected; (H4) accepted; (H5) is accepted. The results of this study explain there are some weak indicators of each variable of discipline, competence, motivation and employee performance. It is recommended that companies review, evaluate, and provide motivation and training to employees in order to improve their skills. Keywords: Discipline, Competency, Motivation, Performance
