- The purpose of this study was to know the significance of the effect of interest rate and inflation on domestic investment in Indonesian. The method used in this research was Ordinary Least Square (OLS) for the 1985-2015 period with a form of annual data. The analysis technique used in this research was multiple linear regression, classic assumption (Normality, Multikorelation, heterocedastity, and autocorrelation) and continued with the analysis was Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Which became independent variables in this study was the interest rate and inflation. The dependent variable is the inflation on domestic investment in Indonesian. From the analysis conducted showed that partially influence the interest rate has a significant negative effect and significant impact on domestic investment in Indonesian. While, inflation influential positive and significantly to domestic investment in indonesian. And simultaneously interest rates and inflation significant on domestic investment in indonesian. Results of the analysis showed that the coefficient of determination R2 was 0.624018, which means the domestic investment index variables that can explain the variable interest rate and inflation is 62,40% of the dependent variable, so that 37,60%is caused by other variables that are not included in the analysis model. Other variables can be a non-economic factors. Such as political, social, cultural and etc.
