- This study aims to develop teaching materials To Improve Student Motivation Class III in Social Science subjects about the types of work and the importance of modulebased morale and to know the quality of the module as a learning material. The research was conducted at SDN Kewunen precisely in class III. The research method used by Bord and Gall has been modified by sugiyono. While the number of research samples used in the preparation of this thesis that amounted to 27 students of class III A at SDN Kewunen. The data collection used is to make observations, questionnaires, free interviews. Based on the results of the design test obtained an average value of 93.2% of this can be categorized "very feasible", based on the results of expert test material obtained average value sebersar 85.78% of course this goes into the category of "very decent" and based on the results test of educational experts (teachers at SDN Kewunen) obtained an average value of 98% of this can be categorized "very feasible". Meanwhile, based on the limited trial results of modulebased teaching materials in class III A, the average score of 95.04% can be categorized as "excellent". And in the test phase of student motivation motivation in giving a questionnaire motivation to learn before menggunanakan module-based teaching materials get an average value of 50.37% this can be categorized "Low". Meanwhile, after using the teaching materials based on the module, students are given a questionnaire of learning motivation to get nilai average of 91.46%. It can be categorized as "High" from the above data, it can be concluded that by using instructional materials based on module can leave students learning motivation.
