  • This study aimed to determine student’s critical thinking ability through guided inquiry learning model in waste handling concept at XI.Ak class student in SMK Negeri 1 Bayah. This research is designed in deskriptif. Population in this research is all of XI grade students in SMK Negeri 1 Bayah academic year 2013/2014 with sample XI.Ak class students. The sample is determined with purposive sampling technique. Data is subjective by essay and the learning activities. The result shows that percentage of student’s critical thinking ability class is 55% in critical category and 45% in verry critical category, it can be concluded that student’s critical thinking ability through guided inquiry learning model on the concept of waste handling.
