The thesis is titled ”The Implementation of Compensation Money Offense for The Offender of Corruption Crime in Returning The Country Loss Based on The Law Number 20 Year 2001 About The Amandment Over The Law Number 31 Year 1999 About The Eradication Of Corruption Crime”. The background of the writing is due to the uneffectiveness the return of country loss through the additional crime such as compensation money offense in Indonesia Criminal system and criminal issue of compensation money in returning the country loss caused by the corruption crime. Within the writing is used the normative law research writing by using secondary data and the legislation approach is used to analyze the relevant law. The way to collect the data is used by documentation study which is forwarded to analyze by using qualitative data. From the discussion result is known that the implementation of compensation money offense for the offender of corruption crime in returning the country loss will never be effective is due to the convicted of corruption will choose subsidiary punishment namely the imprisonment more than to pay the compensation money. And the compensation money issue in returning the country loss due to the consequency of corruption crime such as not the effectiveness to obtain data/fact about the wealth of corruptor. In turn, at the execution level when the corruptor declares unable to pay back the compensation money and the prosecutir to sieze and auction the wealth of the corruptor.
