Representation of Indonesia Football Supporter Fanatism in the Movie “Romeo dan Juliet” (Realign Semiotics) Background of the research problem is based on football’s supporter fanatism that reap some pros and cons in the community. The movie “Romeo and Juliet” is a movie that dared to record scenes of footbal’s supporter fanatism by visualizing any scenes that are considered deviant and describe them as a representation of football’s supporter fanatism. Movie is a medium of mass communication. This research aims to determine how football’s supporter fanatism is represented in the movie. The theory of this research is semiotics belonging to Charles Sanders Pierce. this theory expected to help researchers reveal signs that refer to the representation of football’s supporter fanatism to the audiences. Therefore, scenes are analyzed based on the triangular elements of meaning (Triangle Meaning) belonging to Charles Sanders Pierce, including sign, object, and interpreting. After that, researcher used Trichotomy aspects to analyze icon, index, and symbol. This research is qualitative research, which in this research assumes significance as a first concern. This research is only develop and gather the facts, then analyze it. Qualitative research method is a method of research studies that the data is statements that derived from the interpretive approach (subjective). Qualitative methods are also used to examine the condition of natural objects, where the researcher is positioned as a key instrument, inductive data, and research results further emphasize the significance rather than generalization. The representation of football’s suporrter fanatism was told in this movies symbolized through every scanes which was played by every player, suported by costum that was used and dialogues which was said every player as well. In this film can be found signs that was able to represent football’s supporter fanatism such as, club identity accesscouries, jersey, club identity song, every supporters’ activity although things that were related by football’s supporter fanatism.
