- The purpose of this research is to find out wheter there is influence between pedagogic competence of teachers PPKn against the interest of student learning on subjects PPKn. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 5 Sobang, village Sindanglaya, subdistrict Sobang, district Lebak, Banten in april until june 2018. The population in this study are all grade VII at SMP Negeri 5 Sobang totaling 85 students. The sample in this research totaled 85 student. In the research approach used in this study was the quantitative approach. The methods use in this study is method correlation with regression analysis technique. Where this technique is used to find influence and prove the hypothesis of influence between two or more variables. Collection undertaken by way of the spread to the now. The conclusions obtained from the results of this research is based on analysis results by using the product moment (rxy) obtained results r = 0,493, his accomplishment was the inter between variable X (Pedagogic competence of teachers PPKn) with variable Y (The learning interest of students on subjects PPKn) at SMP Negeri 5 Sobang, district Lebak there is a fairly strong influence. By using the coefisien Determinasi (CD), means that the influence of teacher pedagogical competence (X variable) with student learning (Y variable ) that is of interest23,4%. While the rest 75,7% is influence by other factors.
