- Rice is a major commodity which has high economic value, so that many cultivated in Indonesia. Subdistrict Pontang is one of the rice-producing area in the district of Serang. However, every year always decline in total production, the land area continued to decline, with an average production tends to fluctuate.The cause of the fluctuations in average of rice production is made possible caused by the use of production factors which are not efficient. This research aimed to analyze the use of production factors simultaneously and partially which effect rice productivity with the application Jajar Legowo system and to analyze the level efficiency of the use of production factors in rice production in the Wanayasa Village, Pontang Subdistrict, Serang District. Data that used in this research were primary and secondary data.Sampling was conducted by survey method. Respondent in this research is rice farmers in the Wanayasa Village, Pontang Subdistrict which has total 67 people.The analytical tool which used in this research is the Cobb-Douglas production function, economic efficiency analysis, F test and T test. Based on the research and data results that simultaneously the production factors such as land, seed, labor and striving urea fertilizer significantly affected the results of rice production. Partially, there are two variables that significantly affect the rice production are seed variable (X2) and urea fertilizer variable (X4). For two other variables, land area (X1) and labor (X3) are not significant in affecting rice production. Rice farming conditions in Wanayasa Village, Pontang Subdistrict show the scale of constant results, so it is needed to increase rice productivity process.The use of production factors land, seed and fertilizer urea was not efficient, the user needs to be done proportionally to obtain a higher level of efficiency and labor production factors which is not efficient, the user needs to be reduced to obtain a higher level of efficiency.
