- This research is motivated by the low mathematical creative thinking skills and mathematical learning motivation of junior high school students. One of the efforts to overcome this problem is by applying the assisted STAD type cooperative learning model of mathematics teaching aids. This study aims to determine the final achievement and increased ability to think creatively and learning motivation of students using cooperative learning model STAD assisted mathematics teaching aids with students who menggu n will STAD type cooperative learning model without assisted mathematics teaching aids. The method used in this study is the quasi-experimental method with the population of all class VII students of Ciruas 1 Middle School 2017/2018 school year. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The results showed: (1) Achieving end mathematical creative thinking abilities of students who get a cooperative learning model STAD assisted mathematics teaching aids are no better than students who get a cooperative learning model STAD without assisted mathematics teaching aids; (2) Increasing the mathematical creative thinking abilities of students earn cooperative learning model STAD assisted mathematics teaching aids are no better than students who get a cooperative learning model STAD without assisted mathematics teaching aids; (3) Achieving end mathematical learning motivation of students get cooperative learning model STAD assisted mathematics teaching aids are no better than students who get a cooperative learning model STAD without assisted mathematics teaching aids; (4) Increased motivation to learn mathematical students who earn cooperative learning model STAD assisted mathematics teaching aids are no better than students who get a cooperative learning model STAD without assisted mathematics teaching aids.
