- The purpose of this research is to know the result of student learning in IPS learning through cooperative learning model of snowball Throwing type. This research uses classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, execution, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study using the test stuffing (Essay ). Based on the research that has been done, there are improvements that occur in each cycle. In the first cycle of student learning results get an average value of 63.85. Then in the second cycle there is an increase in student learning outcome of 76.15. The conclusion of this research stated that cooperative learning model of snowball throwing type can improve student learning outcomes in IPS learning with learning material of natural resources distribution in local environment in Class IV SDN Kaduodeng.
