  • The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in IPS learning material Indonesia Proclamation of Independence using the model of Make A Match learning on students of grade V SDN Pancur District Taktakan Serang District. The hypothesis of action in this study is to use the learning model Make A Match can improve student learning outcomes in learning IPS Class V SDN Pancur District Taktakan Serang District Lesson 2017/2018. The type of research used is the type of qualitative research. Subjects in this study are students of grade V SDN Pancur District Taktakan Serang regency which amounted to 60 students consisting of 30 students of class A and 30 students grade B. Data obtained from pretest research, posttest, documentation for Analyze the quantitative data is processed by formula Statistics. Based on the results of data analysis of research and hypothesis testing based on the results of data analysis research and Hypothesis Testing tertdapat significant difference in the IPS Subject to the results of student learning using the Make A Match learning model, with students using direct learning model. This can be seen from the calculation of two-party test analysis by showing Ho rejected Ha accepted by the acquisition of thitung = 2.132 and ttabel = 1.66757 α) = 0.05. Then compare thitung with ttable obtained 1.66757 <2.123> 1.66757 thus it can be concluded that there are differences in cognitive learning outcomes of students who use.
