- Effect Of Transformational Leadership Style On Job Satisfaction And Employee Performance With The Method Of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Nanik nurhayati (3333082667) guided by Hadi Setiawan ST., MT and Nurul Ummi ST., MT ABSTRACT PT X Cilegon is a company engaged in the field of port management , the service provided by PT X includes the provision of services ship delay , both the loading and unloading of dry bulk goods , liquids or break bulk , transshipment , heavy equipment , warehousing , packing , consolidation and distribution of goods , logistics services , and services industrial area . The head of PT X Cilegon has characteristics of transformational leadership style that is not authoritarian , easy to discuss communication issues in the work . The problem faced by PT X Cilegon end - this is the end of the employee 's performance declines, the views of the target completion of the work that is not timely . Hourly employees come to work PT X is at 08.00 and hour home work is at 17:00 , but the employees who attended more than at 08.15 ( tolerance limit ) is quite high . This study aims to find out the influences transformaional leadership style on employee job satisfaction as well as to determine the effect of transformational leadership style and job satisfaction on the performance of employees at PT X Cilegon . Method of Structural Equation Modeling ( SEM ) is one method that aims to examine and analyze the causal relationship between the independent and dependent variables , as well as checking the validity and reliability of research instrument as a whole . Based on the results of data processing , the result is transformsional leadership style has a positive effect on job satisfaction at 1 , transformational leadership style negative effect on the employee 's performance of -0.74 and job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance by 0.87 .
