  • This study aims to know and analyze the application of Wall Magazine (Majalah Dinding) media to the ability of understanding the concept of students in the subjects of social studies at the State Elementary School Taman Ciruas Permai academic year 2018/2019. The research method used is quasi experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The sample research technique used is Purposive sampling to select 2 classes. in this study VB class as experimental class using Wall Magazine (Majalah Dinding) and VB class as control class using simple media. The results obtained from the infernsial test of the hypothesis. Based on pretest data processing, the average value of experimental class = 74,43 and control class is 69,07. From the result of difference test of second grade value at significant level = 0,05 obtained tcount = 0,80 and ttabel = 1,67. Based on posttest data processing, the mean of the students' understanding comprehension on the subjects of IPS of experimental class is 83.04 while the control class is 73.14. From result of difference test of average value of paraff grade significant = 0,05 obtained tcount = 3,83 and ttable = 1,67. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the understanding of the concept of learners in the eyes pelajran IPS using Wall Magazine (Majalah Dinding) there is a significant difference and better than students who use simple media.
